This law determines principles, regulations and measures regarding the management and monitoring of the railway in order to ensure that such work is implemented effectively, efficiently, sustainably and environmentally friendly. This law aims to promote the railway businesses and transportations to operate comfortably, smoothly, promptly, properly and safely; to enhance regional and international integration; to ensure the national security, peacefulness, and social orderliness; and to contribute to the national social-economic development.
